Motorsport betting in Morocco: rally-raid, endurance, WRC and ovals
Motorsport, on the Moroccan site of 1xBet, gathers the four-wheel championships that live outside Formula 1: the World Rally-Raid Championship with the Dakar and the Rallye du Maroc, the WEC endurance series and its Le Mans classic, the WRC, Formula E, IndyCar, the NASCAR Cup Series and the DTM. Each ends in an official classification, and every market here is settled against it. Formula 1 has its own Grand Prix line, and two-wheel racing sits under the motorcycle championships.
From Morocco the calendar has a home date. The Fédération Royale Marocaine des Sports Automobiles, the FRMSA, has run the sport since 1957, and the country's round of the world rally-raid season leaves Agadir at the end of September. Morocco stays on GMT the whole year, so that event runs on local time, while the rest of the section is followed from a distance.
Agadir to Zagora: the Rallye du Maroc as a World Rally-Raid round 🏜️

The 2026 edition is round four of the five in the W2RC: shakedown on 28 September, then five stages, 29 September to 3 October, from Agadir to Zagora. A rally-raid adds up the special-stage times, so the event's entry carries an Ultimate-category winner, a podium and a stage-winner market that is settled on the evening of each stage. The season then closes in Abu Dhabi from 22 to 27 November.
The twenty-sixth edition, in October 2025, doubled as the world finale: Sébastien Loeb and Édouard Boulanger won the Ultimate class for Dacia ahead of Lucas Moraes and Henk Lategan, both on Toyota, and Moraes took the 2025 W2RC title. The Dakar itself went to Nasser Al-Attiyah and Fabian Lurquin in January 2026, a sixth win for the driver and a first for Dacia.
Six hours, special stages, ovals: how each series settles a result 🏎️
WEC: 8 races in 2026, six hours each except Le Mans, a full day and night. Hypercar and LMGT3 share the track but not the classification; a crew's three drivers share one result.
WRC: 14 rallies, decided on the cumulative time of the special stages. The closing Power Stage pays bonus points, and Sunday, the Super Sunday, has a points scale of its own.
Formula E: a winter season of double-header E-Prix. Season 13, 2026/27, is the first for the Gen4 car, 600 kW and four-wheel drive, with 21 races in 13 cities.
IndyCar: 17 races in 2026 across ovals, road courses and street circuits, the Indianapolis 500 above all.
NASCAR Cup Series: the Chase is back in 2026: 26 regular-season races, then a 10-race Chase for the 16 best on points, a win no longer an automatic ticket. A race win pays 55 points instead of 40, the top seed restarts on 2100, and the most points after Homestead makes the champion.
DTM: 8 rounds and 16 races on GT3 cars in Germany, the Netherlands and Austria, one winner per race.
The season title is a market of its own in every series, the category winner its rally-raid equivalent; neither carries a start time, so both sit in a separate block of the line.
Series, round, session, market: reading the line 🔎
Under this text the line opens level by level. Pick a series, then a round by its name, then a session: Hyperpole or qualifying, the race, a named special stage, or the first and second race of a double-header weekend. The same layering applies to every sport in the pre-match line.
Market | What you are answering | Settled by |
|---|---|---|
Race or rally winner | Which car or crew takes first place | The official classification; in WEC, that of the class you picked, Hypercar or LMGT3 |
Podium | Does the named driver or crew finish in the first three | The final classification |
Top 6 and top 10 | Does the named driver finish in the first six or ten | The final classification |
Head-to-head | Which of two named drivers or crews finishes higher | Their respective positions at the finish |
Pole position | Who starts from the front | Hyperpole in WEC, the qualifying session in IndyCar and NASCAR |
Fastest lap | Who sets the quickest lap in the race | Official timing |
Number of retirements | More or fewer unclassified cars than the line | Cars missing from the classification |
Power Stage or named special | Who is fastest on that one stage | The time of that stage alone |
Season champion | Who lifts the title of a series | The final standings |
Rally-raid stage winner | Who wins a given stage of a rally-raid | The time of that stage |
A bet on an LMGT3 car is judged inside its class; the Hypercar leading overall has no bearing on it. A head-to-head looks only at the two names on the coupon. The Power Stage pays championship points, but the market on its winner reads only its stage time.
Dates to circle, from Fuji to Le Mans 2027 📅
What remains of 2026 and the start of 2027:
Series | Date | Event |
|---|---|---|
WEC | 27 September | Six Hours of Fuji, then Barcelona on 16-18 October and the Monza finale on 6-8 November |
WRC | 1-4 October | Rally Italia Sardegna, before the Saudi Arabia finale on 11-14 November |
DTM | 9-11 October | Final round at Hockenheim |
NASCAR | 8 November | Chase finale at Homestead-Miami, the first finale there since 2019 |
Formula E | 18-19 December | Season 13 opener; the finale is Tokyo on 24-25 July 2027 |
Dakar | 1-15 January 2027 | A loop out of King Abdullah Economic City, 5,320 km of special stages |
IndyCar | 7 March 2027 | Season opener at St. Petersburg; the 111th Indianapolis 500 follows on 30 May |
WEC | 12-13 June 2027 | 95th running of Le Mans, fifth round of the 2027 season |
From Rabat, a WEC round or a WRC day is followed the same day; IndyCar and NASCAR fall in the evening or at night; Formula E and the Dakar depend on the host city, and each session's card shows its start time. The title markets open with these names on top: Alex Palou took the 2026 IndyCar crown, his fifth and fourth in a row; Pascal Wehrlein won Formula E season 12 for Porsche, his second title; Kyle Larson holds the NASCAR title from 2025.
When the lights go out: live betting and the phone 📱
At the start, an event leaves the pre-match line and continues in live motorsport betting, where winner, podium and head-to-head markets stay open depending on the event, odds recalculated at each pit stop, driver change, caution period or completed special stage. Over a rally-raid the Ultimate-class price moves stage by stage, from Agadir to Zagora.
On a phone, the mobile version of 1xBet carries the same line, from the home page to the card of a single special stage, before the start and during the event. The account is kept in Moroccan dirhams, MAD, and is topped up through Attijari, CIH, Al Barid, Cash Plus or Lbankalik.
Moroccan names on international grids
Mehdi Bennani, born in 1983, won races in the WTCC, took the 2020 TCR Europe title and raced the TCR World Tour round held in Marrakech on 2-4 May 2024. Suleiman Zanfari, born in 2005 in El Jadida, came up through F4 and Eurocup-3 between 2022 and 2024. Marrakech has had its own venue, the Circuit International Automobile Moulay El Hassan, since 2009, and the city staged the Marrakesh E-Prix from 2016 to 2022; the 2026/27 Formula E calendar and the 2026 TCR World Tour both pass Morocco by, so the Rallye du Maroc is the season's only home fixture in the Motorsport section.
